Cannobio

Cannobio è il centro più caratteristico della sponda occidentale del Lago Maggiore: ha mantenuto intatto gran parte del suo patrimonio naturale storico e architettonico, offrendo un meraviglioso scenario lacustre e montano.
La sua posizione strategica e il clima temperato la rendono una località ideale per le vacanze, non solo durante i mesi estivi ma anche nei mesi primaverili ed autunnali. Varie sono le attività che si possono svolgere: gli amanti del lago possono godersi il sole nella grande spiaggia del Lido, fare escursioni con il battello per ammirare da vicino le bellezze del lago o anche praticare sport acquatici, come il wind- e il kite-surf; per chi invece preferisce la montagna, le numerose valli che si trovano dei dintorni (la più vicina è la Valle Cannobina) offrono paesaggi spettacolari e molte possibilità di escursioni, per vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile a contatto con la natura.
Durante la stagione estiva il divertimento non manca mai, e le serate sono animate da concerti, feste ed eventi sportivi; molto conosciuto e frequentato è il mercato della domenica, che si svolge dalle 8:00 alle 14:00 sul lungolago, dove si possono trovare capi di abbigliamento, calzature, accessori, bigiotteria, giocattoli e generi alimentari.
È importante ricordare che Cannobio è stato insignito dal 2002 di un prestigioso riconoscimento ambientale, la Bandiera Blu, e dal 2011 ha avuto anche il riconoscimento della Bandiera Arancione da parte del Touring Club Italiano.
La vocazione turistica di Cannobio non le impedisce di essere apprezzata anche per alcuni suoi punti di interesse storico ed architettonico; tra questi vale la pena ricordare:
l’antico Borgo con il suo Palazzo della Ragione, detto anche Parasio, dove spesso hanno luogo mostre ed esposizioni;
il Santuario della SS. Pietà, sul lungolago, che al suo interno conserva l’immagine della Pietà che, secondo la tradizione, sanguinò miracolosamente il 7 gennaio del 1522. Da questo episodio nasce la festa patronale dei Lumineri, il 7 gennaio, molto sentita dai cannobiesi;
il Leone, monumento simbolo di Cannobio affacciato sul lago all'entrata sud della città, eretto in ricordo della difesa di Cannobio del 1859, contro un attacco austriaco proveniente dal lago;
l’Orrido di S. Anna, in località Traffiume, un luogo di notevole suggestione: qui la gola scavata dal torrente raggiunge una profondità di 25 m. Dal ponte si osservano le acque che scorrono verdi e silenziose tra ripide pareti di roccia. In questo scenario si erge solitario il santuario di Sant’Anna, costruito nel 1638.

Cannobio ist ein charakterisches Dorf am Westufer des Maggiore See; es hat viel von seinem historischen und architektonischen Gut behalten, und bietet eine herrliche See- und Berglandschaft.
Seine strategische Lage und das gemäßigte Klima machen es zum idealen Ort für einen Urlaub, nicht nur während der Sommermonate, sondern auch im Frühling und im Herbst. Es gibt viele Aktivitäten, die man unternehmen kann: Seeliebhaber können die Sonne am großen Strand des Lido genießen, mit dem Boot fahren, um die Schönheiten des Sees zu bewundern, oder Wasserspot wie Wind- und Kite-Surf treiben; für diejenigen, die die Berge bevorzugen, die zahlreiche Täler in der Nähe (der nächstgelegene ist das Cannobina Tal) bieten spektakuläre Landschaften und viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, um ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in der Natur zu erleben.
Während des Sommers fehlt der Spaß nie, und die Abende sind mit Konzerten, Festivals und Sportveranstaltungen belebt; viel bekannt und beliebt ist der Markt am Sonntag, von 8 Uhr bis 14 Uhr an der Seepromenade, wo kann mann Kleidung, Schuhe, Accessoires, Bijouterie, Spielzeug und Lebensmittel finden kann.
Cannobio hat ab 2002 eine bekannte Umwelt-Anerkennung verdient, die Bandiera Blu ("Blaue Flagge"), und ab 2011 auch die Bandiera Arancione ("Orange Flagge"), vom Touring Club Italiano.
Cannobio ist auch für seine historischen und architektonischen Sehenswürdigkeiten beliebt; sehr wichtige sind:
das alte Borgo mit seinen Palazzo della Ragione, auch genannt Parasio, wo oft Ausstellungen stattfinden;
das Heiligtum vom SS. Pietà, an der Seepromenade, daß das Bild der Pietà bewahrt; dieses Bild, nach der Tradition, blutete durch ein Wunder am 7. Januar 1522, und nach dieser Episode entstand der religiöse Feiertag der Lumineri, jeden 7. Januar;
il Leone ("der Löwe"), historisches Denkmal am südlichen Eingang der Stadt, errichtet in Erinnerung der Verteidigung vom 1859, gegen einen österreichischen Angriff von See;
Orrido di S. Anna, in Traffiume, ist ein Ort vom großem Charme: hier hat die Schlucht des Flußes eine Tiefe von 25 m. Von der Brücke kann man das grüne und ruhige Wasser zwischen steilen Felswänden beobachten. In dieser Landschaft steht allein die Kirche S. Anna, im Jahre 1638 erbaut.

Cannobio est le village plus caractéristique de la rive occidentale du Lac Majeur: il a conservé une grande partie de son patrimoine historique et architectural, offrant une magnifique vue sur le lac et les montagnes.
Son emplacement stratégique et son climat tempéré en font un endroit ideal pour les vacances, pas seulement pendant les mois d'été mais aussi durant le printemps et l’automne. Il y a beaucoup d’activitées que vous pouvez faire: les amateurs du lac peuvent profiter du soleil dans la grande plage du Lido, faire des excursions en bâteau pour admirer les beautés du lac ou pratiquer sport nautiques tels que le wind- ou kite-surf; pour ceux qui préfèrent les montagnes, les nombreuses vallées qui se trouvent en proximité (le plus proche est la Vallée Cannobina) offrent des paysages spectaculaires et de nombreuses randonnées, pour vivre une expérience inoubliable avec la nature.
Pendant l’été l’amusement ne manque jamais, et les soirées sont animées par des concerts, des festivals et des évènements sportifs; bien connu et populaire est le marché de dimanche, de 8 heures à 14 heures au bord du lac, où on peut trouver des vêtements, chaussures, accessoires, bijoux, jouets et nourriture.
Il est important de se rappeler que Cannobio a reçu à partir de 2002 une reconnaisance prestigieuse pour l’environnement, la Bandiera Blu ("Drapeau Bleu"), et à partir de 2011 la Bandiera Arancione ("Drapeau Orange") par le Touring Club Italiano aussi.
La vocation touristique de Cannobio s’arrête pas d’être apprécié pour ces sites d’intérêt historique et architectural; parmi ceux-ci sont à retenir:
l’ancien Borgo avec son Palazzo della Ragione, également appelée Parasio, où souvent il y a des expositions;
le Sanctuaire de la SS. Pietà, au bord du lac, qu’à l’intérieur garde l’image de la Pietà que, selon la tradition, miraculeusement saignée le 7 janvier 1522. De cet épisode dérive la fête des Lumineri, chaque 7 janvier, profondément ressentie pas les "cannobiesi";
il Leone ("le Lion"), symbole de Cannobio donnant sur le lac dans l’entrée sud de la ville, érigé à la mémoire de la défense en 1859, contre un attaque autrichienne venant du lac;
l’Orrido di S. Anna, à Traffiume, un lieu de charme considérable: voici la gorge creusée par la rivière atteint une profondeur de 25 m. Depuis le pont on peut regarder les eaux vertes et calmes qui circulent entre des parois rocheuses abruptes. Dans ce scénario il y a l’église de S. Anna, construite en 1638.

Cannobio is the most characteristic village of the western shore of Lake Maggiore: it has retained much of its historic and architectural heritage, offering a wonderful lake and mountain scenery.
Its strategic location and temperate climate make it an ideal location for holidays, not only during the summer months but also during spring and autumn. There are many activities you can do: lake lovers can enjoy the sun at the great beach of the Lido, do excursions by boat to admire the beauties of the lake or practise water sports like wind- or kite-surf; for those who prefer the mountains, the numerous valleys in the neighbourhood (the nearest is Cannobina Valley) offer spectacular scenery and many hiking opportunities, to live an unforgettable experience in contact with nature.
During the summer, the evenings are animated with concerts, festivals and sporting events; well known and popular is the Sunday market, from 8 am to 2 pm at the lake front, where you can find clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, toys and food.
It is important to remind that Cannobio has been awarded from 2002 a prestigious environmental recognition, the Bandiera Blu ("Blue Flag"), and from 2011 the Bandiera Arancione ("Orange Flag") too, from Touring Club Italiano.
The touristic vocation of Cannobio does prevent it to be also appreciated for some of its historical and architectural points of interest; among these are worth remembering:
the ancient Borgo with its Palazzo della Ragione, also called Parasio, where there often are some exhibitions;
the Sanctuary of SS. Pietà, on the lake front, that keeps inside the image of the Pietà which, according to tradition, miraculously bled on January 7 th, 1522. From this episode comes the celebration of the Lumineri, every 7 th January, deeply felt by the "cannobiesi";
